Yemisi Akinbobola is the co-founder and CEO of African Women in Media (AWiM). She is also an award-winning journalist and academic. Recently, she played a pivotal role in launching the TRAKD initiative in partnership with UNESCO. This initiative aims to combat technology-facilitated gender-based violence in the media industry. Through her leadership, Yemisi has been advocating for the rights and recognition of African women in media, ensuring their stories are told and their voices heard.
